AdWords PPC Management - Are Your Campaigns Structured Correctly?

Google Goggles Review. Read an actual users experience.

More often than not, AdWords Campaigns are built with a single ad and a rather extensive list of broad keywords. This common mistake leads to most, if not all keywords becoming inactive and requires a large bid to re-activate them (around $5-10 per keyword). This is known as a "Google Slap".

Google only favours adverts that are highly targeted to give their searching users the best possible experience, unfortunately most advertiser don't see it that way once they've been slapped.

As an example of a non-targeted, "slap-able" campaign, let's say we are selling pens.

Here is our ad:

Buy Our Pens

Cheap Prices

Next Day Delivery

www.ExamplePens.com

(Please note, that is not a real address)

And here is an example of our non-targeted keyword list:

pens

blue pens

red pens

black pens

fountain pens

biro pens

ball point pens

usb pens

cheap pens

As you can see, the keyword list is very general (or broad) and only 1 or 2 keywords are remotely related to the ad. So when someone searches for a blue fountain pen, or indeed a usb pen on Google and sees your advert, they won't be clicking on it.

How to Effectively Promote Your Online Business With AdWords PPC

You have tried to use Google AdWords to make money by promoting your affiliate products or your online business, but instead of generating revenue from your marketing efforts, you burn out your money in AdWords campaigns without a positive ROI. You wonder why other affiliates are making millions of dollars with Google AdWords but you can't. Is it really so hard to make money with Google AdWords?

Most of affiliates who use AdWords to promote their affiliate products and hope to make money from their advertising efforts will lose money eventually. The key reason of their failure is they do not know how to effectively use this extremely competitive advertising platform to generate positive ROI. There are too many internet surfers looking for information, but most of them might not be the potential buyers. So, it is important to get rid of these tire clickers and ensure that your AdWords ads are only clicked by the potential buyers.

Nowadays, keywords are very competitive in AdWords PPC. It's hard to find the most relevant and effective keywords without a good tool. Hence, make sure you have a keywords tool available to help you choose a great set of keywords to be used in your AdWords campaigns.

Reasons for Google AdWords PPC Campaign Failure

The reality is, running a Google Adwords Pay-per-click campaign is no longer as easy as it used to be. The high competition for popular keywords and the highly sophisticated Google algorithm, calls for a need to use PPC strategies to beat Google AdWords.

Essentially, your Google Adwords PPC campaign may not be optimized for the following reasons:

1. The minimum cost per click for your keyword is raised to $5.

With such high bid prices, it won't be long before you realize that you need to spend a fortune on advertising. What's more, bidding for $5 doesn't mean that your ad will appear on the first page, particularly for competitive keywords.

2. Poor Ad Copy

If Google thinks that the words used on your PPC ad are irrelevant to your search keywords, a higher minimum cost-per-click may be imposed. In addition, relevance also affects your ad ranking and the number of impressions.

3. Poor Landing Page Quality

Google doesn't like "selfish" landing pages with few outgoing links, or irrelevant content. In fact, Google imposes a Quality Score for landing pages. A low quality score causes Google to hike up the minimum cost-per-click price for keywords in a campaign, and decrease the number of ad impressions.

How to Tap into the Google AdWords PPC Goldmine?

Google, the most populated search engine on the Internet, offers a great advertising tool called AdWords.

AdWords was launched in March 2002 with a purpose of providing highly targeted search engine advertising solutions to marketers and over a few years it has shows remarkable growth as far as the popularity is concerned.

How does the entire system work?

There is a simple 5 step process to carry out.

1)Select the geographical location, where you want your ad to get displayed.

2)Write the ad with Title, 2 lines of description and the   display and destination URL's.

3)Select keywords that will trigger the ad .

4)Select the amount you wish to pay when and only when someone click on your ad.

5)Select the daily budget.

That's it and your ad starts running immediately.

I have seen traffic coming in less than 15 minutes. Since your ads get triggered because of the keywords you select, the traffic you are getting is highly targeted.

I have been using AdWords for almost 8 months and has seen a conversion rate of as good as 13%. This is not because I have good copywriting skills, but because of the excellent keyword selection facilities inside the AdWords system.

Adwords PPC Management

If you live outside of the US, different minimum bid prices hold true given the different currencies involved.

Let's take the UK for example - in the UK the minimum bid price is £0.04 whereas the minimum bid price in the US is $0.05.

This means the cost of bids in the UK when currency is converted is significantly higher (July 2005), therefore it may be wise for you to setup an Adwords account which uses USD.

I say may because you will incur charges for currency conversions with your bank so you must look at your own particular financial situation to be sure. The new

So, if you have yet to create an Adwords account - or indeed even if you have an account (you would have to shut it down before reopening another) - sign up at http://www.google.com (not your local Google portal - eg: .co.uk) and specify dollars as your account currency. It Ccould make a significant difference to your PPC management costs.

So you get a mere 4 lines of text to play with in Adwords so every single line counts. Even more than that every single letter counts (even the Capitalisation of letters will make a difference to your click through rates believe it or not).

How to Make Money Online with Google AdWords?

We all heard about making money online. The question is how do you rely start making money online today. I am going to share with you on how you can start making money online without having a website, not knowing anything about web design, and not spending much money. That is right you do not have to have any knowledge of HTML code. All you have to know is how to type. There are hundreds of courses on the internet charging you hundreds of dollar for the information I am about to share with you. Do not spend any money on any online marketing tools until you read this.

The one way to take advantage of Google AdWords is to become affiliate. Affiliate marketing is where someone advertises for another website and in return that person receives commission for each sale their advertising brigs to that website. Here’s an example: Let’s say I want to sell Laptop Computers, but I don’t have a website and/or I don’t have any computers to sell. Well instead of starting a company, I can just find a company online which already sells computers and offers an affiliate program.
