Your point is well taken regarding why businesses track the activities of employees. I however believe the problem lies with both the employer and employee. Sure there are employees who abruise the system and I guess there will always be, the problem comes however when a few employees causes problems the company reacts with a shotgun effect. Example: since we the company caught 2 employees abruising sick leave Everyone will now be limited to taking sick leave once a month. Ethics has become a real issue in our modern day society.
